My training with Shikshangan was in Spring of 2018. It was ESLP (Essential School Leadership Program) I had done my previous training in IIM’s short educational courses. The training with Vijay Sir and Devika Ma’am was unique they were very apt on their presentation mixing management technique with Class room experience. What I could notice was most of the modules which they do are home grown they have put lot’s of man hours in making them. I further went to do ESPL advance in Girivan, Pune in December 2018. I have never stopped from then on whether its my personal development, my faculty, School or friends and colleagues who are in school education. Their trainings are full of nectar and keeps on mesmerizing us. I am so happy that we have such ‘A’ listed trainers in India.

Shikshangan is a one stop place for professional development and training as Devika Nadig and Vijay Gupta have a deep understanding of the principles of school education. Devika Nadig’s years of experience in the field has helped her understand the fundamentals of teacher development and training. This has enabled her address every issue pertaining to the effective functioning of a school. This in-depth knowledge of the system is evident in the design of her workshops. On behalf of the Kaveri group of Institutes, I express my sincere gratitude to Shikshangan for helping us set up Kaveri International school and conducting workshops on effective teaching . Her creative input has brought a distinct change in the outlook of our staff. Whenever we realize, we need support,we reach out to Shikshangan. Devika is a friend, philosopher and guide to our institute. On behalf of the management and staff of Kannada Sangha’s Kaveri group of Institutes, I wish Shikshangan a glorious future.

A week in the hills. A couple teaching pedagogy. Uncertainty could well be the name of my week-long retreat. Yet, that one long week at Shikshangan was the most powerful educational journey I took. In Vijay, whom I consider very highly, I found a mentor who was so sure of himself. The gentle demeanour, willing to listen, respect that he gives – is the hallmark of a true educator. Devika is the perfect ally. Sound principles, no nonsense attitude, qualified and yet humble (a rare to find combo!), she was the ideal teacher in the classroom. Over the years, I have met, interacted, heard their workshops several more times, and every- time I found new lessons and a renewed hope in education. Bless you both and keep the wonderful work going. So here is what I recommend: If you have only a week left for your retirement from schools, still go ahead and join the Shikshangan course. It will change your attitude and some child’s world!

When I first attended a session on Effective Teaching by our power trainers Devika Nadig and Vijay Gupta, during the ASISC Conference in Siliguri 2018, I liked their direct, progressive approach. This followed by a School Leadership Training in Kolkata. During the Covid year I have witnessed how Shikshangan has evolved to cater to all the programmes virtually to empower educators. Their topics are relevant, their reading references exhaustive and useful. Thank you Shikshangan!

The training with Shikshangan for the top leaders of my school gave them an insight of bringing about a better change in the future generations. It gave them the capability of de-selling the brains and the hearts of the teaching faculty and inculcating in them the potential of being a true leader and a change maker. We say leaders lead from the front and set examples for others same. Shikshangan’s training professionally developed the Principals to influence other leaders and make them even more responsible, sensitive human beings. The engagement was like nectar for them and has enabled them to become great leaders and bring out the positive outcomes in teaching and learning. Thanks Devika and Vijay for igniting the passion across.

I’m associated with Shikshangan for years now. We got our thirty teachers trained under the able guidance of Devika and Vijay in the year of 2014 and since then they are providing us with various trainings right from lesson planning to understand classroom needs to designing curriculum. I must say that their expertise helped our teachers grow in all directions. Every training of theirs has equipped them with better classroom and self-management skills. Their leaders trainings has really helped our middle and senior leaders to become planners and collaborators. Their residential leadership program has been instrumental in making our school leaders reflective in not just their planning but also in their day to day functioning. I wish multifold success to Devika and Vijay in their beautiful endeavour of teachers and school leaders guidance programs and looking forward to continually working with them in years to come

Integrating and incorporating a variety of strategies while teaching in classrooms in practice is always very challenging. Shikshangan made it effortless with the Effective Pedagogy module. It was a learning experience that was one of a kind. Strategies like Jigsaw, Summarising, and Note taking grasped the attention of every attendee. It provided my team with tools that are essential to teaching in this day and age. The content covers different aspects of the education industry and caters to individual profiles.
The style and knowledge of Devika and Vijay was totally amazing. Our experience with Shikshangan has been extremely fruitful, the discussions were particularly insightful allowing candidates of all ages and skills to grow personally and professionally. I am certain that I will continue my relationship with Shikshangan, for I can see a tangible ripple effect of growth and development in my school.

Indian Learners Own Academy extends a heartfelt gratitude to Shikshangan for illuminating the path of educators at school. We found all the webinars exceptionally informative & highly motivating and learnt countless novel ideas which can make classroom instructions impressive and help the learners in deep learning. Shikshangan has a mission to improve quality of instructions with its Midas touch, whichever institution it touches. Webinars on Mind and Brain Principles and Formative and Authentic Assessment were eye openers for many educators. It is revitalising that seasoned educators like Devika ji & Vijay ji are taking webinars that are tailored to individual needs of schools. May these torches make themselves available to numerous schools to enhance the quality of education.

For any program to be rated as effective and praiseworthy, the content and the delivery, both need to be superlative in nature. In view of this, Shikshangan Educational Initiatives deserves a 5-star rating. The content of the modules is curated and structured in a way, which if followed by educators, will bring about the much-desired changes in the classrooms. The examples put forward at every step of the module, immensely contributed to the understanding of the participants. The inimitable delivery, the ingenuous approach help achieve the purpose of the session in a scholarly way. The erudite speakers that both Devika Maam and Vijay Sir are, coupled with their delightful personality, their felicity with words and the offerings of knowledge and food for thought within the limited time span, ensure that the participants ascend the learning curve in an exponential manner.

I would like to recommend attending the workshop by the Shikshangan Foundation on Effective School Leadership Programme. The workshop has been the best in terms of the takeaway for me and the experience of the workshop in itself was learning. It explored multiple and variegated learning outcomes which shall be applicable in the school eco- system. The resource persons are passionate about education, learning and teaching as a whole which makes it all the more endearing. I have attended many workshops in the past but in my experience this has been the most enriching since they have provided a lot of examples and integrated it with day to day experiences. Thank you once again.

The workshop by Shikshangan was logically structured to not overwhelm anyone. Perfectly paced so that the three days were adequately rich without being taxing cognitively in terms of attention. Teachers loved” hands-on practice that was incorporated into the agenda. The workshops have motivated our teachers in the right direction. Teacher awareness was enhanced and with subsequent interactions and interventions, we are sure that they will get reinforced and will become a habit; thereby the school stands to benefit. Devika maam and Vijay sir kindled the minds of our teachers with active interaction and left the teacher spellbound. Once again a big thanks to Devika ma’am and Vijay sir for coming to Abohar and augmenting our teachers the knowledge, skills and new techniques of teaching to make the teaching learning process more enriching.

A Transformative Training Experience! The educators of Delhi World Public School immensely benefited from the two days of teacher training conducted by Ms Devika Nadig and Mr Vijay Gupta from Shikshangan Education Initiatives. It proved to be an enlightening experience for educators, as it covered a wide range of topics related to Effective and Efficient Teaching Methodologies. The training emphasized the importance of a Structured Framework for Teaching, consisting of three key components: what to teach, how to teach and whether students have truly understood the material. Educators were also introduced to innovative techniques to incorporate art into various subjects, making learning a more holistic and enjoyable experience. The knowledge and information shared by the resource persons coupled with the emphasis on subject integration made this workshop a valuable experience for our teachers.

Gyan Anant Vidyalaya, Atrauli (U.P)
I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to you on behalf of Gyan Anant Vidyalaya for your kind consent to lead a workshop on teaching tactics, syllabus development, and curriculum design. Being trained by a resourceful individual like you, whose contribution to the field is unmatched, is an honour and a privilege for our academic staff. It can be difficult to integrate and implement a range of strategies in the classroom, but Shikshangan made it simple by offering useful modules and tools to comprehend various teaching and classroom management techniques, such as shifting from the syllabus to unit plans and lesson plans. A wealth of knowledge was learned during the courses. We hope that you will abide by us on other occasions as well and that this courtesy and cooperation will last in the future.
